Hi guys, do any of you have arrangements with others tradesmen where if you pass a lead, if they get the job you make some money?

If so how do you work it, in terms of percentage or fixed cost.

Or do any of you quote jobs for others and put on a fixed amount or percentage, where the other person supplying the lead gets paid if you win the job?

I would be interested to how you have got on with such arrangements and also the pros and cons.

Cheers Martin

Cheers Freddy, just took at that thread and in general it was guys who have never swapped leads for cash. Would be interested to hear from people who do have arrangements, I know it happens a lot.
To be perfectly honest, its something i have been involved in from both sides, would be interested in how others work it and here there feedback, thanks.

Don't do that personally, got a group of good lads I recommend them and they recommend me.
All good skilled tradesmen that won't rip a customer off and will do a good job.

When it comes to our own houses we work on each others for nowt !

You don't make commission on passing on someone's contact details (leads) unless you're a scum sucking leech. I have no problem paying or charging a little commission on actual work.
