Having difficulty sourcing some new Appleby bulkhead light fittings.

MUST be glass and metal. Must not be plastic.

And MUST have space for 20mm conduit entry at the top and bottom.

These were everywhere once. Need nine new ones, E-bay got a few random ones.

Anyone seen any new ones for sale lately?

Appleby do still list them on their website, have you tried calling their sales dept.? 01543 455030

Failing that Coughtrie still make and sell proper solid glass and metal bulkheads with conduit entries.

Applbey dont do them now, powerlite and others used to make pl lamp glassbulkheads but you cant get them now either, we do cooker hoods and its a pain, other makers still do glass jobs but there smaller and holders are crap to get cable in.
recently used coughtrie LED but there megabucks, even the coughtrie bc version are dear, but by far the best to work with.

I've e-mailed them via Electrium two days ago, but no response whatsoever...

I'll phone them as you suggest, thanks.

Indeed we needed some of the Coughtrie corner lights, the lights weren't too expensive for the quality, it was the huge handling charge that made it so expensive.

No, they do one with a grey painted metal (aluminium?) body, and an option for a 'well glass' globe, as I recall.

Bought one in late 2014, can be fitted as a corner light or can be fitted on a straight piece of wall.

Although the Coughtrie stuff does cost a small fortune, it is built like a tank and lasts pretty much forever. I've seen plenty of the die-cast bulkheads, wired in pyro that must have been in service for 60+ years.
