Just moved into new apartment and noticed the alarm is switched off at the mains and when I switch it on starts to bip. previous owner didn't left any access codes so I have no idea what to do with it to get it up and running?

If you have no user code you will need to do 1st stage factory default on control panel. This will reset user code and engineer code back to factory default, leaving system programmimg intact

Short reset pins on power up it will default main code to 1234 and engineer to 7890 then replace battery back up ASAP ...all other programming should be ok

ok how do I short reset pins on power up ?
you are going to have to talk to me like when you talk to a child cause I have no electrical knowledge at all! lol

can anyone do a video on how to do it and send it over?

Open control panel lid
Disconnect battery
Remove fuse out of fuse holder
Short pins RST on PCB
With short on pins
Power system back up by putting fuse back in
Remove short
Connect battery
Put lid back on panel
Panel now defaulted
User code now 1234
No video required!!!

Handymanjo Thanks so so much for that enlightening explanation! finally someone talking clear! got it !-NOT !!!!
that was hell! seriously I'm talking step by step for electrical dummies or the requested video showing how to do it. pretty please! (sugar coated).

You not need a video
Follow the step and it will work
Look online for installation manual and it will explain
Once defaulted all you need to do is change customer code to what you require and you are sorted.
Hit the thanks button please
