Can you lay blockwork on top of block and beam floor to create a wall partition, they will not be load bearing just on single storey with flat roof aboce. I want to subdivided the floor area into 3 separate rooms.

This is all that's been done on the floor level, and work was halted since. Could the gap cause a issue with the planners up to the boundary, as it tapers in towards the end. The neighbour has no issues with me putting up a single storey this close.

The builder is trying to have a word with someone in the council he knows. If no luck in next day or so I will get the planning submitted. I have the plans drawn up.
