    if you do mean the face drain covers then the windows should already have the slots routed into to them ready for you to push the covers into,if they are not there and it is a face drain window you will have probs the frame will fill up with water in a while. :shock:

    Exactly like outlaw has just posted, and i was not telling them how to break in(just as well smash the window) i was telling them how to take the euro out, ........ you still have to turn the locking mech so it opens so unless you know what you are doing it is not really that quick and easy imo

    Fitting folding doors to a cavity wall.

    I assume that the instructions would be for fitting into new work otherwise you would have to hack the plaster of the reveals, if i was fitting i would fix straight to the brickwork.

    Go for a composite door, looks like wood(sort of) no maintenance and you get the multipoint locks, and yes i think composite doors are getting better.upvc panel doors are a cheaper alternative but one kick and the panel is on the floor imo

    They probaly do have night vent, open the window and look at the keep that the locks lock into they should have 2 slots, so open the window slightly and lock the window in the second slot and hey presto

    The easiest way is to take the glass out and then i would use an old paint scraper/putty knife find the locking lugs from outside and find which way they slide and tap it with a hammer until it opens, once open you take the locking mech off reglaze the window and screw it shut until you find...
