Spoken to the builder, he said we have to go for 80mm minimum as 50mm will not pass Building Regs.

Will check with builder as skirting needs to be adjusted. Which will be more effective? Another radiator or floor insulation? Is walls insulation more than enough?

The insulation panels are proper celotex type with foil on one side. I was told it is more than enough. Raising the floor seems possible, need to check with builder. What sort of insulation is recommended for floor and how it needs to done? Thanks

Thanks, The water is not gushing from wall, mainly from the slates / tiles. Is it ok to seal the lead and tiles with leadmate or flashpoint mastic? I did use rubberised water resistant sealant (see link) on the joints (mainly to seal the gap between the flashing and title, not underneath lead)...

Thanks John, yes the walls have DPC. The problem is the height of the garden, I can not remove that much soil the way the garden is. Best thing would be to upload few pictures so that experts can analyse and suggest.
