    Thanks. So it’s the raised brass part that needs pushing down. (Close to the pipe) I tried a 17 and 15mm spanner but ended up using a screwdriver. The 15mm spanner wasn’t the best idea.

    Your original idea it fine. Change the lights to 6A rcbos. Minimal work for a diyer. Cost effective. I don’t think we would want a diyer replacing an RCD or messing around with the whole board.
