foil plasterboard over old lath & plaster wall

Hi All Help please I need to fix a foil backed board over a lath & plaster wall which is not too sound. In fact the window reveal feels like a cement based board so rather than remove I want to board over just in case it contains asbestos. Has anyone any ideas re fixing it as I don't want...

Block Paving or Pattern Imprinted Concrete?

Hi Both have their good & bad points. Imprinted concrete is coloured and resin coated. Once you wear through the resin it can quickly become patchy and if a poor job this can happen in months. Block paving tends to drop where there is heavy traffic on it. Although you can prevent...

Baxi Combi 80E - no hot water

Hi Tony. Thanks for reply. Have tried a bypass on flow switch when in DHW mode and it has no effect. If I run both DHW & CH with bypass still in place it does not run. However, if I then shut off DHW flow the DHW piston retracts and CH runs. As soon as I reinstate the flow the DHW actuator...

Hi. Thanks for suggestion. The pins on both diverters work ok and have tried activating both manually. The one on the top works ok on CH mode and the one on the side works on DHW mode. Have tried manually operating CH mode switch when running DHW only and makes no difference
