The "male" part (its the compression part) takes a 15mm pipe but all 15mm compression fittings (these days) have a 1/2"bsp thread. Take the plunge and spend a pound. Then again what would i know after 40 years of doing this shyte :roll:
1700mm is a nominal size. Many baths actually measure 1690, 1685, 1680 etc. like this

Acrylic baths cut very easily with a wood saw. 40mm should miss the back slope of the bath :shock: :lol:
Don't be daft. You can get slightly smaller baths and the plaster can take up the rest.

It will possibly be a gravity system and the programmer has not been set to 10 program.
You cannot get CH on it's own (normally) with a gravity system.
