If your finding the metal stud work flimsy then your not installing it properly you do need to add a bit of wood here and there like round door frames and on all the joints i find that solves all the problems also if you build it like a timber wall i.e with enough noggins it should be as solid...

what happend was:- the hot water began running hot/cold so i checked all filters and found scale i then descaled the dhw h/exchanger whilst doing this i noticed the pressure relief valve was passing so replaced that at the same time, since refilling the system i found that while the hot water...

descaled dhw heat exchanger and replaced prv refilled system and all seemed well till system went cold then low pressure indicator on , so refilled again everthing fine for fifteen mins then water from prv drained from system too .7barr everything fine again till system cold and pressure dropped...

left it in solution for about an hour each time or till boiling water went cold, only problem is i got up this morning and presure is down again f~~~ing thing had it running lovely last night hot water c/heating no problem anyone any ideas.?

mate i've had this on a 35ci and it took stripping the dhw heat exchanger out descaling that (five hours later) re fitting refilling oh and you could try re seating the prv valve before buying a new one and dont pressure it upto 1 bar i did and prv started again so had too drain off at boiler...

well it only took five hours and four times with the descaler before it ran through clear not an easy job but a damn site cheaper than a replacement part, hot water is now scolding and thats on my eco setting so i'll be turning that down as well soon. Had bit of a fright when filling the system...

im using fernox ds3 in boiling water have given it a good shake about now how long do i leave it in solution before rinsing and starting again.? how many times should i do it for best results.?
