    As the title. I need to change the battery in our Accenta 3 mini. Do I need to turn off the mains? An earlier thread says to - - open the case - cancel the alarm with the code - replace battery - close case - reset tamper alarm Doesn't say to turn off the mains. I'm more than happy to work...

    Can you take the lid off the (suspect) toilet cistern and see if the water is at the level of the overflow? Or is there a service valve on the toilet that you can turn off with a screwdriver? Try turning it off. I was amazed at how much our leaking toilet used - a barely noticeable leak...

    I expect the third contact is to do with temperature sensing / overcharging protection. Why not use the charger? You seem to over complicating things.

    The code does silence it. Battery swapped with power on. No more tamper alarms so far ... fingers crossed.
