thanks how much would I be looking at it costing to replace it?

The guys been tonight and pumped up the expansion vessell, which he thinks should cure the problem. He suggested replacing it was a big job as the boiler had to come off. Is this right?

Are these fairly easy things to put right? Presumably if this valve is the problem its a case of replacing it? What likely costs am I looking at?

Pressure is low - should be 1-1.5 when cold. our is nearly zero and moves up closer to about 0.5 when in use. All radiators work (each radiator has individual thermostat) and water OK. No noticable leeks or noises. Boiler was in a house we bought end of April - I think the pressure was Ok...
