    if u have a water butt, stick any old copper pennies, copper tube etc in and leave for a few months, copper sulphate good moss kioller and deae cheap. You can still spend te pennies later

    not recommended to pour bleach on your roof as it will end up in the surface water system. A good quality moss killer will do the job, but you will get piles of dead moss in ur gutters so they will need cleaning afterwards.

    There are other options and the phrase never paint again is not exactly true. Most carbon based solvent or water based coatings are semi porous some say they are but are not. I have rarely seen any 'paint' that doesn't age, deteriorate or peel otherwise they would paint the forth road bridge...

    koi pond curved walls

    Just built this for koi, ICF available in curves too. Holds 2800 litres, 1 mtr deep (800mm Water), took 2 days to build, now full, though no pics yet. Lined with rubber all pipes inside lights also recessed. top edges done with decking, Stone effect Deco pierreadded by local guy.

    We did a sterling board fit for Decopierre finish with a layer of roofing membrane, steelmesh then Decopierre. 7 years ago, still here :lol:

    I just built two 8 x 4 planters from ICF (Insulated concrete forms) and got them Decopierre rendered to look like natural stone. Dead happy and whole job over a weekend.

    If the tiles are past their sell by date, they are worth nowt, if they are not then why re-roof in the first place. 75% are probably porous and breaking away at the back. Should you not look at coating them :roll:

    One major issue with concrete gutters is they are normall much more structural and larger in depth, width and height etc. Repolacement with plastic is a major job and not the normal run of the mill replacement. I wud seriously ask them to show you this app,lication they have already done...

    Sounds like a real project. D0 you have photos? There may be some options. Try youtube and search stone effect or wall coating usually come up with a few ideas.

    Do day do dat derr. ???? Are people still pebbldashing. Cricky so 1960's. Over here (En France) we are overcoating problem walls in Lime based Deco pierre (Decorative stone). I could never understand dashing in a country that suffers rain, frost and thawing all in one day? It's gotta come off...
