    Get some proper work trousers with built in knee pad pockets, then get some decent knee pad inserts. I wear them all the time at work, couldn't do with out them. Once you've worn them in, you don't even notice them.

    Always make sure the sub floor is fully screwed down into the joists, not just nailed. Neat pva glue and screw 12mm ply over the top. Tile straight on top, I never prime, never had problems In last 10 years. Only thing priming will do in my eyes, is to stop the adhesive going off to quickly...

    Ok, so I've been back and redone the pipe work, it's not pretty and I'm not proud but I did what I needed to do in a short space of time. Put two auto vents in loft to shower. Hopefully this will improve things, time will tell.

    No not yet, the cover plate has been siliconed on and will be difficult to remove. But an option I will have to try.

    Caulk is designed to be painted over, isn't true white and yellows. Use white silicone.

    If your testing between live and Earth, you may have a bad earth. Assuming live and netural is fine of course.

    Ok I've been back Friday and fitted air vents got the shower up and running working fine pump,on and off. I recorded a vide here.. Shower is a low pressure shower here...

    Shower feeds are decaicted supply's, cws and separate feed off hot tank. Shower is a fixed head. Gonna check nrvs and poss fit air vents and see what that does. Thanks everyone for the advice.

    Don't know on the shower, I didn't buy it. I'm sure there's enough head, as flow was very good from feeds into bucket, that's why I'm confused.

    No didn't open up shower before I fitted it, not sure how easy that will be as its concealed. Standard pump so negtive I think, I didn't buy it.
