    Tiler who won't silicone?

Your tiler has a real “Can’t do” attitude and sounds like a really negative and unflexible subbie. I can’t stand to be around people like this as their attitude will rub off onto others and drag people down. To not even offer to have a go at siliconing just sums him up. Hope you find a good...

Glow Worm Ultracom Boiler Loosing pressure

    Monobloc flexible tap tails??

Newboy I think if you read what he said, then he said he used PTFE on both ends of the connection. I wouldn't know how many turns of PTFE it takes to pack an M10 to a M12,It sounds like you speak from experience about having leaks on these and have found out the hard way about bodging with...

    Monobloc flexible tap tails??

Yes your right, I totally forgot about 8mm. The op said he wrapped PTFE on the threads so it IS possible that he MIGHT have used a smaller size and thus the PTFE packed it out as it entered the tap.

    Monobloc flexible tap tails??

Guys read what I've wrote, it 's easy! M10 thread goes into a 10mm thread M12 thread goes into a 12mm thread Just because one end is one size dosn't mean that the other side is. All flexi's for mono blocs are sized at m10 or m12 so if it don't fit or leaks then you have used the wrong...

    Monobloc flexible tap tails??

Hey OP, mono bloc flexi's are normally sized as M10 or M12. It sounds like you have fitted M10's instead of M12's. PTFE tape isn't needed, either wet o-ring or use a small smear if silicone lube if need be.

    Gravity System To Fully Pumped

You need to re-pipe the open vent and cold feed pipe in relation to the new pumps location. It should be boiler, open vent, cold feed, pump on the flow. Need to fit an auto-bypass if using x2 2 port valves as well. Would also tee in the cylinder return closer to the boiler and not...
