How to access my basin washer?

They look very similar to the ones I've got in my bathroom, The section above the 'elegant bevelled chrome finish' unscrews to show a screw keeping the tap head in place, grip said elegant bevelled chrome finish & unscrew the top section by hand rather than using grips that will damage the finish.

My Candy CDW 250 is not filling with water, it goes through the programme cycle on the dial & even the element heats up but no water is entering the appliance, obviously I've checked the water is on etc & checked the hose for any kinks, Is this a pump fault?

Many thanks, i will have to check the distances as the programmer is in a cupboard alongside the tank, pump, pipework etc, If it cant go in there do you think the receiver can go in the garage & connect into the same terminals as the frost stat on the boiler PCB? getting power to the unit...

    Shower going hot and cold

Run the shower from the cold feed tank in the loft (if you have 1), this will solve the problem but will be a bit of work & you may have a loss of pressure in your shower as it is gravity.

    worcester 28i junior non-condensing

it can do, water expands when heated & it needs somewhere to expand into, if the expansion vessel cannot take the increase in pressure(due to a faulty diaphragm or low pressure) usually the pressure in the CH circuit rises(shown by the pressure gauge rising) thus dumping water from the pressure...

    worcester 28i junior non-condensing

when you are checking the expansion vessel remove the cap (it looks like a tyre valve cap) then press the valve in to release some pressure, if water comes out then the diaphragm is punctured if only air comes out it should be ok & may just need repressurising, the correct pressure should be in...

    Replacing a central heating pump

Drain the system (unless there are isolation valves either side of the pump) on most pumps you can just rermove the 4 allen key screws to remove just the head of the pump rather than remove the whole pump body (as sometimes the nuts are dificult to remove) then remove the pump head off your new...

    Stiff Radiator Valves

if there is a nut on the valve just below the valve head/plastic cover (that the valve stem itself passes through) loosen it a bit, (just a quarter turn or so) this should loosen the valve stem itself enough for you turn it off hopefully be careful not to snap it as most are brass & are quite...

Worcester 24 Combi High Pressure Problem

its could be the expansion vessel needs re-pressurising, hot water expands when heated & the expansion vessel takes up the pressure, if the expansion vessel does not take up the pressure the pressure within the boiler & pipework rises & when the pressure reaches about 3.5 bar the pressure relief...

LPG Boiler in wooden box / shed

As long as the clearances around the boiler are as per manufacture instructions it should be ok, a caravan is basically a wooden shed with windows & tin on the outside & they have combis fitted.
