Hi, I'm after a little bit of advice.
I did a job around nine months ago for a friend of a friend. The bloke lost his job while I was halfway through doing his bathroom.
He told me he was still going to get a final months pay and that he'd give me half the total for my work (£550) and...
I am going to help a friend decorate his house for him in the next couple of weeks.
He moved in about 18 months ago and I installed all new woodwork and left him to paint it all. He used a combination of all sorts of differnt gloss, one coat, quickdrying, no runs etc and now it's really...
That's the main benefit of Lion over nicd batteries, they hardly weigh anything and make working so much easier.
Personally have my eye on this set - http://www.itslondon.co.uk/pd_MAKLXT202_LXT202_Makita18vLithiumion2PieceKit.htm
Just waiting for the price to get closer to the 300 mark.

Am thinking of doing the £350 course.
Have got a good basic grip of most trades. Done my apprentaship in Carpentry and have since worked as a handyman - decorating, bathrooms, gardening, tiling etc
Anyone have any experience on a course like that or...
They are very good quality and very good value.
I haven't ever fitted one of their hardwood internal doors but fitted a few hardwood exterior doors and they're fantastic.
Best possible tool is a plunge cut circular saw on rales. It's a massive time saver compared to a plane, I use it on every door even if im just taking a few mm off.
Expensive though, my Makita set was about £500.
My mum has recently moved into a new house and has a rather small kitchen, it's a very strange lay out and has two door ways - one from the hall way which is fine and one from the dining room which is pretty pointless.
To create a little bit of extra worktop space my mum wants to put a bit of...
Just recently started my adwords account and was wondering which words people get the most clicks and views.
I'm in the maintenance game - do carpentry, decorating, kitchens, bathrooms, gardening, brickwork, fencing, decking etc everything really
Thanks for the opinions.
Think I'll go for the 18v Makita Ni-cd impact driver instead for similar money. I did want to hold of getting too many more ni-cd bits rather than li-ion stuff but I think ill get a lot of use out of a impact driver for fencing, decking etc.
I recently bought the 10.8v bosch multi cutter and love it, one of the best tools i've ever bought easily.
Was wondering if anyone has ever used the impact driver as you can pick one up body only for £60 or so.
What sort of jobs can it do? Seems like it lacks power to do much?
Hi,
Am looking for 15 fence panels for a project and have no idea where to go apart from Wickes and they seem quite expensive.
Also is it worth picking up either of these :

Oh ok thanks, Ill think i'll go for that one.
Am I right in thinking the max size of skirting I can miter cut is 130mm?
That should work out perfect as it's 119mm skirting I've bought.
