Hi, Recently the hot water from our back boiler has begun to heat up crazy hot. The hot water tank begins to vent after about 30 mins, the boiler doesn't shut off. Central heating is fine. When it first happened the pump began making some horrific grinding noises so I replaced that....but the...

Flat concrete roof and supporting wall?

So, the surveyor just turned up and took some measurements. He said his office would email me some paperwork. Just had a read and it says they'll charge £100 plus £90 for the first hour. He was only here 10 mins. I don't think I want to see his report at that price will I still have to pay?

    Rubber/flexible coving?

The plaster board on the ceiling doesn't reach all the way to the wall, there's a gap along part of that edge about 10mm where you can see straight through to the ceiling. I managed to fill it myself anyway but I'd still like sme sort of white rubber strip to cover the edge as it looks a bit...

    Rubber/flexible coving?

So, I had a plasterer out to do the bathroom ceiling, he's left a 1cm gap between the edge of the plaster and the wall near the shower. I'm looing for some flexible coving to cover the gap as I'm not too confident I can fill the gap myself properly. Can anyone reccommend something I can use?

    How to test boiler fan?

It's a potterton profile 80. I didn't think I'd need to worry about getting an engineer as I'm not going near the actual gas.
