Unsprung Rose handles - What mortice and latches ?

Hi John, and thanks. There is nothing to stop the handles going vertical, you can lift them up as well as push down, so maybe a spring already under tension would cause them to sit upright ?

Hi All I have these handles, http://www.brooklyntrading.co.uk/p-2825-union-door-handle-round-rose-satin-stainless-steel.aspx which are unsprung rose handles. I have tried with a cheap tubular latch , and also with a cheap bathroom mortice, and they simply do not have enough "spring" in...

Where can I buy on of these marquee / tube elbow connectors?

You also don;t say if they ar for a gazebo, or you want them for something else. PVC snap fittings seem to be popular in the states, but not many for sale over here, and more expensive. US company: http://www.simplifiedbuilding.com/store/pvc20-3-way-l.html some on ebay, but in the...

    advice on garden fence/wall

Pretty sure you will need planning permission for one that high, if it's at the front of your house. (which it looks like to me ? )! And next to a highway http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/permission/commonprojects/fenceswallsgates/ Check out your local councils website first.

If he "wired" up the shed, then he should be competent enough to install a sufficiently rated junction box where you have cut through the cable ?

Garden is a bog - land drainage ?

I will probably dig a soakaway anyway to see if i can get past clay, and just make sure that it has an overflow which goes out to the brook as well. I did wonder whether i needed permission to run off into the brook, as that is technically where it should end up anyway, i'm just trying to...
