    How many mm below dpc should i backfill? My footings are 1m deep and 600mm wide. Is it best to have 2blocks + 1 brick inner and 7 engineering bricks on outer?

    Thanks Red, I've got planning permission + given in a building notice, nothing has been been agreed as such re the drains. But i defo will run it through with him on his visit. Thanks for the help anyhow, very much appreciated.

    Thanks Red, 3m away from manhole is going to be a wc, and further 4m off that is the 7m point where the kitchen sink will be. Its all straight hence rodding wont be a problem. If this set up is allowed its not going to yield any foul smell in the kitchen or in the garden through the gully...
