    Best 30kw Combi

Hi all, I'm in the process of having a new boiler installed after a disastrous 12 years with Baxi 105Ei. To compound the misery I've had to rip out all the old CH piping because I used the no barrier Hep2o which literally corroded my system. I've re-piped everything, put new radiators in...

Unlevel Sliding Shower door & Sealant

Hello, I'm in the process of installing a 1000 sliding shower enclosure manufactured by Lakes. In the instructions it states that the shower tray needs to be fully sealed to the tiled wall before the enclosure is fixed in Position. The problem is that the enclosure now doesn't sit level again...

Fitting a WC Pan connector to the soil waste pipe.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I was a bit vague in my previous post. I've changed the picture above now to add a bit more info (distances). The Pan connector will be coming through the floor right up against the joist on the right, It then needs to go over to the left and into the soil pipe...

    Installing a Shower waste Trap

Totally agree with you guys, not comfortable with this at all but the silver piece in my hand is all one piece and you can't take the strainer out without removing the whole shabang. Taking it back tomorrow and gonna go for the one in my previous post. Would you think this would be ok...

    Installing a Shower waste Trap

I would have thought that as well, but it needs to be unscrewed to remove the centre strainer, as shown in the picture. I'm thinking of abandoning this one and going for this instead. What do you think. http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/removable-top-wastes-319-0000 Cheers

    Installing a Shower waste Trap

Thanks very much for your reply. When you say below the chrome outlet rose do you mean underneath the the rubber seal that goes under it? The reason I'm asking this is because you need to be able to unscrew the outlet rose to get to the piece that comes out to remove any hair/soap build up...
