yes there is an air vent at the back of the cylinder in the airing cupboard it runs from downstairs straight to the tank in the attic, i tried the air vent and a load of cack came out and then ran clear water! the boiler is downstairs and a tank in the airing cupboard with an electric supply...

on friday i changed the pump for the central heating...the old one was screaming and needed to be replaced, i got the system up and running and all is working well, the central heating before was bearly hot but we had hot water! now the central heating is roasting away fine but the hot water is...

the boiler has a myson compact external pump at the back of it. both pipes attached to the pump go into the back of the boiler! any help please :cry:

three port what! i'm a spark mate :wink: how do i bleed the pump? the pumps working (very hot) but the pipes connected to it are cold! :( can't see a vent. there are two pipes from the pump going into the back of the boiler each pipe has an on/off valve!

can anyone help me with the no hot water problem on my worcester 24 cdi. the water starts off hot for a few seconds then runs cold from the tap. the central heating is fine. no flashing lights etc..etc..! thanks in advance. i'm an electrician on gas!!!! little boy pair of pliers...
