    Adding second circulating pump?

Morning, I would appreciate your view on this one. Over the week-end, i connected a shower pump to the fill pipe of my central heating (Salamander CT FORCE2.0Bar), pump feed from the attic water tank. The idea was to run a higher flow through out the system than would normally do with just...

    Adding second circulating pump?

The plumbers were from local companies, all legit with invoice. The plumber disconnected/checked the flow/return flex hoses within the boiler. They were ok. He spent 2 hours my system. I ran him up again, and now quoted €850 to power flush heat exchanger only and fit mag filter.

Honeywell 22mm motorised valve to 20mm composite pipe

No, he didn't. He only used 20mm pipe-compression nut + olive - 22mm valve There are photos in this thread, though may be hard to see the motorised valve connections https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/connect-3-4-bsp-male-cylinder-flange-to-3-4-bsp-male-cylinder-hw-outlet.557158/ Post #14

    Viessmann Vitodens 100 : lasy pump ?

The problem is that it takes a long time for radiators for heat up, and some stay almost cold. The return pipes of all the rads are cold, flows are hot/warm. I checked for blockage on all the rads, and could not find any. Boiler is a Veissmann Vitodens 100. No fault displayed. The hot water...

    Plumbing through Floor Joists

so my post don't send the wrong advice..... I re-measured the joists. 2 joists are coupled. They are 169mm. The notch is sloped from 56mm to 50ms into the first joist, and 50mm to 44mm into the second. This is to allow for 40mm shower waste pipe.

    Plumbing through Floor Joists

OP, I did exactly that recently. 40mm pipe work was above joists(6"x2") /boards and now is under. The notches are between 40mm and 60mm, allowing for slope. For piece of mind, i added few 4"* 2" with coach screws. Not sure i was necessary, but i sleep better knowing it's done

How to put laminate boards down in this room?

I would try to randomize the joints, instead of having then line up in diagonals if you see what i mean. In regards to the door threshold, i would finish the board under the middle of the door tickness minus 5mm or so, depending on the type of door threshold you are going to use. So then door...

Connect 3/4" BSP male cylinder flange to 3/4" BSP male cylinder HW outlet

Thanks for your inputs so far. Do you suggest using the plugged temperature and pressure relief tapping because it is easier or because it is better? If using the temp & pressure relied outlet, is an inverted loop required ? The pump inlets/outlets are 3/4", so are the new pipes to the...

Connect 3/4" BSP male cylinder flange to 3/4" BSP male cylinder HW outlet

The plumber & contractor were pushing for us to install solar all along during the renovation work (5 months, back of the house was gutted). Plumber went ahead with this UltraSteel Solar Indirect AUSI300XS while my wife & myself were still debating to go solar or not. Plumber was well aware of...

Connect 3/4" BSP male cylinder flange to 3/4" BSP male cylinder HW outlet

Yes. A professional plumber installed this huge 300liter cylinder when we renovated part of the house. On the attached photo, the HW outlet is a 3/4" compression. HW outlet then goes to a compression T: - downwards gravity feds the house HW - upwards goes up the attic & loops back and vent...

Connect 3/4" BSP male cylinder flange to 3/4" BSP male cylinder HW outlet

We are redoing the upstairs bathroom, and the water pressure was just not good enough (just gravity), shower head approx 80cm from bottom of CW tank (in attic). Hence pump just to service the new shower which has a rain shower head. One part of the house (connected to same HW) stays with...
