Granada as tony says theres a kit to servive the divertor valve on your boiler and its actually pretty simple to change.....

Yep you've cracked it mate, the combustion chamber cover is the bigger front panel that you've openly admitted to removing. Get someone out that knows what they're doing to check it out

STOP!...call a registered gas safe engineer out to check your boiler. Opening up the combustion chamber is illegal and dangerous unless you are qualified to do so.

24i is a combi boiler, no motorised valves, try linking out the external controls at the pcb

Diaprhagm in divertor valve. Not an easy job though.

Before you replace the diaphragm, check the 2 small impulse pipes going to the dhw manifold, these are prone to blocking.
