Has anybody ever heard of a council sending out a letter like this after one weekend of work? Neighbour was a complete pain from the second we got out the van. No noisy tools just a simple bit of roof work.

I've tested all the wiring and it has between 13 and 14 at the live, 0.30v at the tamper (same as another i tested) but absolutely 0 at the NC white wire. I looked at another sensor and that is reading 5v at the white. Yes i can set the alarm by linking out the zone. 5# basically after the pin.

Lol has this new roofer got a clue? They are fibre cement slates and the copper tail rivet at the bottom should be showing. It is there to reduce wind uplift. Not too sure why the coping stones have came off, maybe a too weak mix. Hard to tell without a picture.

Slate or tile which one is it? I've never seen a red slate.

How about using a redland renown tile? Obviously they are longer and wider but they interlock fine together. I've seen them used on gables where a daft cut has ended up. Just cut it down to the same length, might not work but just an idea.

I use the blue Cromar and it is a decent mid range membrane. I pay £47 a roll. The Vent 3 light is very thin and easy to tear so i'd avoid that version.

Yeah all i can ever get are the doubles. Really not a big fan of fibre cement slates myself, 10 years down the line they look crap.

Coloured side up. If it's on a roll you can't really get it wrong, it goes one way.
