can i run a spur from a socket to wire up two wall lights ? its gonna be a problem running a spur from the lighting circuit. Well more of an inconvenience cheers :lol:

is there any secrets, other than riping every other floorboard up, to laying cable from one end of the room to the other ? obviously i have to choose to go along side joists and not against them! grrr

can't you tell i've just bought a house that needs stuff doing to it! After much thought over the following I come a croper! dumbfounded i am :x How on earth do you take up floor boards that go from one end of the room to another, obviously you need some sort of cutting tool to cut them at...

so if i take the ceiling rose out and put a junction box in its place i can then run another 3 twin eaarth cables top the 3 luight fittings therefore 6 twin earth cables will be joined in a single juinction box, is that right? cheers in advance breeze

hi .........again If I wanted to add two wall lights to my bedroom but have them run on the same switch as the ceiling rose or indeed in place of the ceiling light, could i join the 2 wall light feeds and the ceiling rose feed from a single junction box ?
