My bedroom rad currently has a [bi-directional] valve on the return side. The TRV effectively has 2 settings - on full or [set to 1] off. I've checked the pin isn't sticking and tried a different TRV head with no difference. Any idea what the problem is? Would swapping the rad feed pipes over...

Hi I've been looking everywhere for E27 pendant fittings with little luck. Currently having to use bayonet to E27 convertors for my Ikea LED cool bulbs, but that makes them too long for certain shades. Only place I can find them for sale is in US. Anyone know why?

Hello I've been looking everywhere for the flexi-hose in the title, but it doesn't seem to exist? My old bath has 22mm cold and 15mm hot pipes. My new bath has a mixer tap with 1/2" legs. Is the only alternative to fit a 22mm - 15mm reducer on the the cold, then use a 15mm - 1/2" valve...

Cheers - but my mistake. That's got a female 1/2" tap connector on it, and so do the M12 flexible tails my tap comes with. So I need a male 1/2" tap connector. Out of interest, what are those tapered ones for?

Hi I am trying to find a 15mm to 1/2" tap fitting compression elbow. The only one I could find in the local shed has a 1/2' tapered end. What is the tapered end for? Will this do the job with PTFE on the threads? Thanks for any help nigel

Cos I don't want to use solder and risk bad joints, and I want flexibility when routing pipes in wall. hep20 seems to be similar price to others, is it really more reliable? 50 year guarantee suggests they are pretty confident...... If so I'll use that. ta.
