3 Phase TT supply and RCD

Think my boss found a hager double insulated 3 phase board, but if cant find one, like u say external RCD.... seems this would perhaps be best anyway as pointed out by plugwash, RCBOs wont stop a neutral fault... so maybe external rcd to supply 3x double insulated single phase boards (maybe...

is this a reliable earth connection?

ive seen a bit of MICC, still doesnt look like it to me, but if u say it is then ill believe .... to be sure, just try bend the cores a little, if its stiff then they are solid conductors, so sure to be MICC

is this a reliable earth connection?

they look like vir's or rubber cables going into copper conduits with rubber 'cable protectors' on the end anyway, what ever it is there is probably joins and its heavily oxidised and possibly corroded in places

    Split load with two RCDs

if you are only planning to use circuits covered by 2x30mA RCDs, you dont need a 100mA RCD, just use a normal isolator ?

    Split load with two RCDs

the MK solution sounds good .... i think it works out cheeper to buy another "split load board" rather than the split load kits ? (not sure on inet prices though) take it that some circuits will not be on the 30mA RCDs and will only be on the 100mA RCD .... so u will actually have 3 banks of...

    The looks you get!!

in terms of safety yes, in terms of law apparently not... when we went to 17th edition seminar a bloke told us that "u test to whats safe, not to current standards or you will forever be going back" ..... not sure what new regs are brought out for if its not to raise safety but hey ..
