Hi Thanks for the info glad I posted the question as was very close to saying yes to the underfloor heating. With the solid roof with the extra insulation I am hoping we will be able to use ours all year round.

We are using the existing brickwork and base just all the framework and roof being replaced. We are keeping a door between the lounge and the conservatory. We just want one we can use all year round as at the moment it cold in winter and to hot it summer as its south facing. Anyway have decided...

Not been done yet will be replacing a 14 year old conservatory with thin polycarbonate roof.

So am I being told here that the ultaframe roof with all the insulation and the latest spec widows is all a waste of time and it's never going to get warm?.

that's 10mm of insulation on top of the concrete floor roof has 200mm.

well judging by the feedback on here a wall one is the way to go and buy a pair of slippers to keep my feet warm.....

well it is but independent of the rest of the house heating system as would a wall mounted one.

that's why we are looking at electric heating.

All pipes are in the walls and the manifold is upstairs and the other side of the house so not really practical.

well I have had a recommended plumber round and he has said its not a good idea as either the rad in the conservatory wouldn't get very warm or the lounge one wouldn't .

I am getting the feeling under floor might not be the way to go LOL. I have plenty of sockets I can run a wall mounted heater off but it needs to be narrow (700mm) and tall any recommendation?.

Quick question I need to re mastic one end of the bath but I bought a tube and unfortunately the mastic is a dull finish where the rest is a bright white. Can anybody recommend a brand that will match? Thanks Mike

Hi Just noticed that the tile grout is not very good in the last row of tiles on top of the shower tray and worst still they move if you apply light pressure. I am right in thinking water is getting behind them? Any advice greatly appreciated Mike
