2 way switching with neon & no neutral.

^ ingenious! but I don't quite understand the science behind it. Is it because the neon is a high impedence?

    aquavac pro 100

hi folks, anyone have one of these? I acquired one a few years back and apart from being incredibly noisy it's a great vacuum. However, I've never used it for wet work. I was never given a manual by the person who passed it on to me so I've no idea how to use it for wet. Presumably it can't...

coolant brown colour - need changing?

well I'm not really sure if it needs doing that was why I was canvassing for opinions. what I meant by a "clean colour" is the clear but slightly blueish colour due to the inclusion of the coolant. no, no oilyness on the surface of the water fortunately!

    radiator foil

the difference it makes is minimal, but can be worthwhile when rads are on external walls. some people suggest using kitchen foil is just as good as this stuff. you don't need to remove the rads to install it, provided there's at least an inch of space behind the rad you can carefully...

What is the best way to connect appliances in a kitchen?

the response to which will be something like "I'll have to discuss this with the boss", then they'll **** off and make excuses not to come back. Why give yourself the hassle for the sake of a flippin fuse!

What is the best way to connect appliances in a kitchen?

The plug is supplied with the appliance, i think they could argue it is part of it. Anyway if you're changing it for a non-fused type they are bound to give you gip about it!
