hi i have a timer on my light set for to go off at a certain time in my aviary as i have birds and i was wondering if there is a timer with a dimmer built in so that the light goes out gradually over a period of time at the moment im afraid if the birds are flying around and the light goes out...

thats correct Flameport as i have purchased an Arcadia bird lamp as ive just got into breeding budgies and when the days are dull and in the winter months they need the uv light from the bulb to substitute the suns rays for to keep them healthy

Problem solved the plumber left a loose wire in the switch anyway. I dont know where you get your 3 hours to heat up the cylinder as it only took 45 mins and the entire tank was heated.

by the way its 42insx15ins

i know that but how long does it take the whole tank to heat up

how do you know if an insulated copper cylinder is fully heated when you want to have a bath using the emersion heater, before with my old cylinder i just had to put my hand on it to check it but with the insulated ones you cant feel the heat in it any one got the answer cheers

i have one telephone line into my home and have two connections off it for sky tv a connection for combined phone fax and a connection for computer .My problem is when someone phones or sends a fax and im on the computer the internet stops working or if someone rings out or sends a fax same...

i have photos on a cd disc and want to transfer them on to an sd card so that i can have them developed in the chemists on one of those machines how do i do that,I dont want to print them my self as it would cost too much for ink and paper, cheers

tictic myself and my wife always maintain the tiles and make sure there is plenty of ventilation i just want to know is this stuff any good is it worth putting on the grout

after re grouting my bathroom wall tiles i was browsing around my local hard ware store and came across tile grout sealer and was reading the label and it was stating it would keep stains mildew etc from the grout for 5 years. is this stuff any good or is it just another gimmick as its expensive...
