    Door contact for UPVC frame

    I have fitted recessed contacts ( the ones about 20mm with a rectangular plate & 2 screws) to all my new UPC doors, front side and two to the patio doors. Took some drilling with the metal channel inside the doors & frame but Not had any issues with them at all.

    Thats what is confusing, every circuit got excellent readings for loop impedance and insulation, polarity is also correct on every outlet. So dont understand what could be wrong, not come accross this before other than in older houses with a very small outdated incoming supply.

    Hi When testing an RCD circuit to get tripping times, with a split load board should i expect all circuits on the RCD side to trip at exactly the same time? I have just tested mine and i get a varied reading for each circuit, only about 5ms between times but does this sound ok? Cheers, Adam
