what do you think ?? pretty sure the OP was asking how to get power to the underfloor heating as he said he wished he could use the lighting for the ease of it. depending on the size of the mat. but if possible i usually add on its own circuit but some dont bother and spur off the ring...

i seem to remember having this problem before and it was the motorized valve it had a permanent live that kept the boiler running due to a faulty valve. the only way to turn it off was to turn off on the wall, easy repair swapping the head and re wiring it .
