    Hi, Has anyone ever installed the durabella battens acoustic floor system for a new separating floor? If so, would it be easier to build the nlb stud partitions off the floor, or straight off the joists (not battens) and add additional dwangs for plasterboard/skirting? thanks

    Hi, The minimum height 2m is for the escape route only - if you are going to be tight it may be wise to position the new dormer at the top of the stairs. If you can get an architect/technician who provide a free initial site visit and advice to come out that may be your best bet.
