thanks for the replies I bought some cable and twist on connectors and rerouted it from the box at the front of the house into my downstairs room, I used the interior wall termination box from upstairs and all is working perfectly at a very low cost

do i need to get specialist wire for that?

no, we just have broadband and phone, the cable from the outside box was installed to the box room bedroom [this is probably the same cable that tv would also be recieved from if we had the tv package] apart from that the only wiring coming into the house via the box is for the phone to master...

have broadband from virgin via the cable in the street, it was installed to a small boxroom which is a home office, we now want to move the office downstairs, can I re-install the cable myself from the box on the front of the house?

hiya I removed a radiator so that a plaster could do an easier job, we are soon to paint the wall and I just want to know how I go about reinstalling the radiator, not fitting it to the wall but filling and bleeding it then re pressurising thanks

as above, yeah it could be the thermostat, but of the temp gauge is readign normal there should be some heat coming from it, normally if the stat is broke the engine temp remains really low I would suggest flush out the cooling system, upon refilling make sure that the bleed valves are open...

I am installing an aerial wire to a bedroom, the wire has to go through an exterior wall before it goes up to the aerial. I have a bosch sds hammer drill and a long masonry bit whoch is slightly bigger than the aerial wire to go through the wall with, I just want to know if I should drill...

could I swap the button over, from the 'gentle' button that has the same action, as we dont use that setting.
