    All very true, around here (Suffolk/Norfolk) the logs are quite expensive at 70-110 quid for a builders bulk bag (c/m). Quite a number of suppliers now as some see it as an easy money making opportunity I guess. I have even seen willow discribed as hardwood! :roll:

    cost of stove install- resonable?

    I paid 1200 pounds about seven years back for a 316 grade liner and an insulation blanket around the liner. Connected to existing stove and sealed the inglenook with register plate. Pig of a job and worth every penny for me to have got done by pro's. (Thatched roof).
