House was built in 1902, it's quick old. You can tell it's not cavity by looking at the bricks i.e one is big and one is small. In cavity wall you don't have this?

Many Thanks for your advise. I just thought by sealing it will be the best way to protect the wall from weather. Condition of the wall is OK but in same places i will need to re-point it. The Wall is not cavity. Also, I thought by sealing it the wall will last for a log time?

I've heard that you can put plasterboard on top of the old plaster board on a ceiling rather than taken the old plaster off. Is this correct way of doing this? If so, how to you find where the joint is? Many Thanks

Just wanted to let everyone know that, someone suggested to me to try putting on PVA and then put 2 coat. It worked amazingly result 98%, we may have to put another final coat to achieve 100%. Miah
