Worcester 28Si II - CH Not Working!

Thanks. Got an engineer coming tomorrow to look (hopefully). £60 call out fee but they're Worcester approved and I can't imagine I can get a diagnosis any cheap really. Out of interest does this sound like it could be an issue with the motorised valve? I remember dealing with a similar...

Worcester 28Si II - CH Not Working!

Thanks. I've taken the control panel off and managed to remove the cap from the pump. A little bit of water came out then it continued to trickle lightly for a little bit longer. The center part of the pump seems to move fine so not so sure if it is the pump. Also one thing I forgot to...

Worcester 28Si II - CH Not Working!

Here's a view of the pump, from infront, above and underneath. As you can see it's not exactly easily accessible. The control panel in front of it looks easily removable but I'm not sure whether this is necessary or adviseable? http://i39.tinypic.com/16aaeeg.jpg (Front)...

Worcester 28Si II - CH Not Working!

Thanks, I thought that may be the case! Any ideas how/if I can have a go at fixing it myself? I'm fairly confident/competent DIY'er.

Worcester 28Si II - CH Not Working!

Hello all! Looking for some advice re a problem with my central heating. My boiler is a Worcester Bosch 28Si II, it's a combi boiler. It is controlled by it's own control panel and a room thermostat. The problem is that the central heating doesn't seem to fire up. The hot water however...

Laminate that looks like real wood

I took your advice but am on quite a tight budget. I found this engineered floor http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70080569 from Ikea. It looks good to me. What do you think? Any good?

Dark wood flooring in a corridor?

I love the look of dark wooden flooring, but I dont know whether to put it in my corridor. The corridor has no windows apart from small ones in the door, so the only real light comes from the kitchen. If i put a dark floor in would it make the place look too dark even if the walls are magnolia?

Laminate that looks like real wood

Anybody have any laminate that looks like real wood? Or as close as plastic can get to wood! Id like an oak planked floor, but I cant really afford the real thing unless I really stretch my budget. Even the engineered floors seem to expensive... So does anyone have any laminates that...

Is it wrong to have reclaimed materials in 1970s house?

I live in a house which was built in 1970's or around that time, so its a fairly new build. I wouldn't have normally chosen a new house, but the area was perfect and I fell inlove with the house. Before, I lived in a georgian farmhouse, which is the kind of house I really love. So i like...

    Is this a good buy?

Im going to be laying 20-21sqm. Id love a medium dark oak but I cant find any within my budget. Also Id prefer planks, but they seem to be quite a bit more expensive than strips. Something like this would be my dream floor...

    Pine floorboards onto concrete

No. There would be no floor covering over the floorboards. So is it better to use a hard wood in this case? Is it possible to use a soft wood or not?

    Pine floorboards onto concrete

I am thinking of buying these http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/120832 Can I lay them on top of concrete (which has rubber tiles ontop) and what are the steps I need to take? Also what else do I need to buy? (ie glue, underlay)[/url]
