Thanks a lot mate , I'm willing to try anything to stop this fault, I wondered if it could be air trapped in the heat exchanger but the automatic air bleed valve would sort that out wouldn't it,unless it was screwed,but I don't know how to check it manualy.

Hi all, recently my boiler has started making a noise like a kettle coming to the boil when the central heating is on.the pressure is set to 1 bar when idle and it gets to 2.5 bar when heating is on,I've tried increasing the pump speed by altering parameter 21 to no avail. can anyone help please.
