Controlling a radiator zone with underfloor heating

Yes, a little late from me. 2 zone valves a must. Have a look at the requirements for an auto bypass valve for the pump overrun.

Controlling a radiator zone with underfloor heating

Your expectations are correct. The boiler should be fed by a permanent live, neutral and earth from a fused spur. (if no heat is called for the boiler should still be on, not firing but on) A live, neutral and earth to the wiring center must also be taken from the spur. The wiring could have...

Controlling a radiator zone with underfloor heating

Hi Andy Its sounds like the room stat has been wired directly into the boiler as apposed to across the switched live. Does the central heating go off if the room stat is satisfied but the timer remains on. What type of boiler do you have?

    Pressure Vessel Location and Testing

I can send you the manual. How do I get your email address? without us all receiving stuff from all over the web! if there is a metal strip covering only the rear 1/3 of the top of the boiler then this can be removed without exposing the HE.

Is there any space to get your head over the top and look down the back of the heat exchanger?

    Pressure Vessel Location and Testing

Hi, I have checked boiler manual and it says the expansion vessel sits behind the heat-exchanger. The only way I can see access if from the top of the boiler looking down behind the boiler. The worcester boschs have access from the top but I have not seen the Icon "live".

    Is my boiler underpowered?

Hi, I am not a regular on here so the others may come back with something better but.. Have you tried balancing the system? This means turning the lockshield valves of the radiators that are getting hot down to create resistance (not the Thermostatic Rad Valves) thus causing the pump to push...
