Daniel sorry forgot to say I am a qualified unvented installer Just crap on faults

My mate has economy 7 heating and the hot water is done off An unvented cylinder. Luke warm water kept coming from tundish So I replaced the expansion vessel but still same problem I then Changed the unit after the cold water mains but problem is still there Any ideas?[/code]

boiler i put in is 28 i junior and the solar system is smart energy i dont no about that valve sorry. guy is going crazy cos system cost him a fortune yet at the mo we doont no how to wire it up

Sorry no pics. There was a 5 core grey cable from the solar unit into the combi. There was a live neutral and earth and 2 switch lives possibly and to flow sensors to the flow and return. Solar still isn't wired in and cust isn't happy. I'm a bg engineer. Could really do with a wiring diagram or...

I went to a job yesterday a combi to combi change. The combi was on a smart energy system which has now apparently gone bust. Boiler now works fine but the electrician has no clue how to wire up the solar in conjunction with the combi could really do with help either wiring diagrams or summit.

yep i work for bg have put one in the MDs house and another as a trial in a small house. think they weigh about 115 mark had to have special lifting equipment to get it on the wall

has anyone fitted one of these? i did today wat a piece of engineering

sorry didnt make myself clear in opening post i am an installer for bg but ant got a clue about breakdowns or fault finding. its a mates boiler went around today gave it a good clean and ignition probs are now fine.

cheers i no there is no leak on system but cud be possibly inside it. will have a nose around 2moz inside

got an ideal combi boiler that is misfiring. when the ch is on it stays on permanently until boiler is shut off at mains then other times the boiler will not ignite at all and keeps trying to fire but no joy. also the pressure keeps needing to get topped up at a rate of once a day no leak...

whats the rules with cylinders. got told that it has to go back 450mm before it goes up to vent. do other draw offs have to be under the vent straight off the top of the cylinder? or can they be teed above it? any help is appreciated
