It is acceptable to have two cookers fed off the same cooker switch as long as they are within 2m of the switch, alternatively a cooker and electric hob. The cable for both appliances should be same CSA as the circuit feed.

IEE Regs don't specificaly mention crimps - don't say you can - don't say you can't - therefore short of writing to IEE I doubt you will get the definitive answer. The concensus is that you can use them but they must be current rated for the application and be housed in a Junction box.

MCB lock-outs, sound like a good idea - can they bought from any electrical wholesalers? A spark I know was nearly killed once whilst working in an attic, the customer's kid had gone to the fuse-board and re-set the mcb cause his video game wasn't working - oUcH!
