    Fernox TF1

Use TF1 all the time. No problems. Some remove the large section head and have problems re-sealing them. You have no reason to remove tis section ever. Annual cleaning of the filter is done using the bottom screw off section in the process clearly described in the instructions. Great bit of kit.

No hot water - help w/diagnosis please

If your unsure if its the motor or the micro switches then I would say its better to drain and replace the complete valve. You know then its going to work and be good for years to come. Do it right, do it once

Combi for a 4 bed house, 1 bathroom with shower, worth doing

Four bedrooms and one bathroom would be ok. Don't go for anything less than 30kw though. You didn't say if it was a mixer shower or electric but as there is only one you will be fine.

    Shower Problems PLEASE PLEASE Help

What's the hose and head like ? If the hose inner has partially collapsed this would cause hot and cold running as would the head if the jets are blocked. Basic stuff but worth a try.

    Scratched MDPE

No good if scratched. The water will get under the o ring. Bigger hole is the only answer. If its tight enough to scratch the pipe then tape won't do any good.

    Ravenheat Diverter Valve

It's all to do with setting the boiler up correctly. Having the correct amount of litres per minute to a specific temperature. Just get it to what's comfortable and leave it unless you want to take on the job of setting it up correctly. Nice job !!!!

    Ravenheat Diverter Valve

You can drain the system totaly if you like as it will only do it good. Or if you dont want to Isolate the boiler with the little levers underneath and drain the boiler only. Also isolate the cold incoming to the boiler and open a hot tap lower than the boiler. This should help. As your are...

Heatline Vizo 24, Heating works but no hot water

Hey tony, I'm glad you said that. Some guys will say it can be done without removing the gas valve but I can't. You have to rag it out at a funny angle and to me you can't guarantee it's gone back in properly.
