Handle has gone 'limp', (steady now) probably some spring inside has broken/snapped. When handle is used to open door it doesn't spring back up to horizontal position Common problem in my house (children). Lock works fine. Can anyone suggest what's wrong and how to fix it.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.I thought nobody cared. I picked up a receipted replacement for a tenner at said scrappy, it didn't work as aerial connection was nae use.Shouldn't be a problem getting another one.Just in case someone had a quick answer.
