    Right it seems that the pump live from the boiler goes into the external wiring centre then off to the Pump (see external wiring pic It's the Brown and black connected by the chock block). So it's wired incorrectly. Could this be a work around> i have noticed there is no CH out, DHW out...

    Thanks Picasso, there is an external wiring centre so either the pump live is wired into this or directly to the pump. Do you mean that the pump should get its power from the mains terminal through the external wiring centre. Sorry to be a pain in the neck.

    thanks Terrydoh i should have noted though that it has only just stopped working after a year and a half of being at this property. So it is not working as it has. I know what you mean I had my last gravity fed system converted to fully pumped.

    Reducing 22mm to 15mm on central heating trunk.

    Spot on Andy, i thought they had been balanced but on inspection the valves were fully open. I suppose the flow was far too fast through them. Thanks for your help and all the best.

    heres what i mean by branch and trunk this is off wikipedia. my set up is slightly different the last TWO rads are on 15mm : the whole system is fine apart from these the last two rads.
