neither. 30kw combi will be your limit. anything else will be a waste. if there's a vented system in place i'd keep/upgrade that
 
currently open vented but so many renovations being done it needs to be relocated and no loft space to house a tank

If you are not retaining the present system, you will have to get better pressure and flow from your main. It has to supply all demands at once, hot and cold flowrates.
 
would normally fit a CRIE pump but customers budget wont allow it

unlikely to be able to upgrade water main due to position of property

accumulator worth a punt?
 
whats the standing pressure, and why if this is for your customer did you even need to ask the first question, its basics.
 
oh yeh missed that, sorry loony :oops: agreed an accumulator will work, just bear in mind how big it will need to be for decent performance.
