1 Gang 2 Way Light Switch Help.

Hi all,
I would be eternally gratefully if someone could help me with which wire goes where on a couple of new light switches i have bought for my living room. The existing light switches have 3 connectors on but only 1 of them is labelled and that is 'COMMON' the other 2 connectors are blank. The new light switch have connectors that are labeled L L1 L2 and L3. I've taken photos of my existing light switches and one of the new light switch. Thanks in advance.

Is this a dimmer switch set-up your installing. If so follow the manufacturers instruction you have.

Hi, the information ( all be it small !) is clear, you must have a master and slave dimmer. Your dimmer will not operate with a 2way switch. NB it will work with you're wiring arrangement when you have a slave unit to replace the second switch.

I'm guessing he has two as he has said
