2002 1.4 Petrol Xsara heater blower control.

Got one of these to look at next week, the blower motor is stuck on full and wont respond to the controller. Its also not providing any heat but that may be a different issue.
Its a manual air con type i believe.
Any tips on what i should look at first?

Has the car got an emergency demist switch, do you know?
Failing that, I'll guess at the fan switch itself.
As for the lack of heating, it'll be the usual bleed point issue / low coolant (if you're lucky )

No idea on the emergency demist switch yet, think its just a poverty spec car though!
