Hi all,

Stupid and quick question. I am installing a new 32mm water main, I have bought all the fittings needed and my particular design has required me to drop the pipe diameter to 25mm before finally attaching a 22mm copper connection.

I therefore need to connect a 32mm -> 25mm reducing tee to a 25mm -> 22mm reducer. I would normally do this with a short piece of 25mm PEX. however I do not have any. What is the best way of connecting these two fittings together:

1. Buy some 25mm PEX - problem is it comes in 25m lengths. Whilst cost is not an issue, it feels like a massive waste of pipe if I only need 0.3m

2. Straight coupling - would something like THIS work?

3. Beg some local plumbers - have tried 2 mates, but neither have any 25mm PEX to hand

Does anyone know if option 2 would work with my plassons fittings (reducing tee + reducer)?

Thanks all,

Jon
