25mm SWA into a consumer unit

What do you think is the best method of terminating 25mm SWA conductors into a CU?
Correct termination/fusing of the SWA is a given

would you put them into a service block and run tails, or go straight to the main switch?

Gland the SWA in to the CU and connect directly into the main switch would be ideal.

You ought to be aiming for an installation with no joints at all.

If metal-clad board, gland to it in the normal way.

If insulated board, gland cable to metal adaptable box, and run the cores continously through. Make sure there is no gap between board and metal box. Make sure the metal box is earthed.

Add a sleeve to protect the cores as they exist the top of the box.
